Alaska IT Group, JV, is a pre-qualified vendor on the State of Alaska Information Technology Professional Services Contract.
Background
In December 2006, the State issued an RFP for Information Technology Professional Services to provide various professional Information Technology and Management Consulting services via standing provider contracts.
WAI and its subcontractors formed the Alaska IT Group (AITG) to respond to the new Request for Proposals. The Alaska IT Group is comprised of Wostmann & Associates, Inc., Interwest Technology Group, Network Business Systems, and Software North.
Under the agreements reached as a result of that procurement, State agencies contracted in excess of $15 million in IT services to various contractors. AITG was awarded top rank in six categories: Windows Servers Systems Support, Non-Windows Servers Systems Support, IT Management Consulting, Procurement & Grant Services, OS390 & Z/OS Mainframe Application Analysis, Design & Programming, and Distributed Application Analysis, Design & Programming. In addition, AITG was ranked second in two areas: Project Management and Quality Assurance.
The managing partner, Wostmann & Associates, Inc. has considerable experience dealing with large contracts. During the last ITG contract, WAI successfully managed on average 60 projects at any one time. The total value of the last ITG contract was over $18 million.
